Effective: July 1, 2007 Latest Legislation: House Bill 187 - 126th General Assembly The director of administrative services may establish, by rule adopted under Chapter 119. of the Revised Code, an appointment incentive program that allows an appointing authority to pay to an officer or employee described in division (A)(30) of section 124.11, division (B)(2) of section 124.14, or division (B) of section 126.32 of the Revised Code a salary and benefits package that differs from the salary and benefits otherwise provided by law for that officer or employee, provided that the appointment incentive program established by the director cannot include authority for an appointing authority to provide health care benefits to a covered officer or employee that are different from health care benefits otherwise provided by law for that officer or employee.
