Effective: October 6, 1994 Latest Legislation: House Bill 571 - 120th General Assembly The sheriff, chief of police, or other person in charge of each prison, workhouse, or state correctional institution shall send to the bureau of criminal identification and investigation, on forms furnished by the superintendent of the bureau, any fingerprint impressions and other descriptive measurements that the superintendent may require. The information shall be filed, classified, and preserved by the bureau.
