Effective: August 18, 2019 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 221 - 132nd General Assembly A draft or existing rule that affects businesses has an adverse impact on businesses if a provision of the draft or existing rule that applies to businesses has any of the following effects: (A) It requires a license, permit, or any other prior authorization to engage in or operate a line of business; (B) It imposes a criminal penalty, a civil penalty, or another sanction, or creates a cause of action, for failure to comply with its terms; (C) It requires specific expenditures or the report of information as a condition of compliance ; or (D) It would be likely to directly reduce the revenue or increase the expenses of the lines of business to which it will apply or applies.
