in certain loans. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Bank of North Dakota may not make any loan or otherwise give its credit to a member of the industrial commission during the member's term on the industrial commission. Before taking office, a member of the industrial commission shall file a statement with the Bank of North Dakota indicating any personal interest that that member has in any loan or loan application in existence or pending at any time during the member's term on the industrial commission.
