qualifications. A clinical laboratory technician or medical laboratory technician has successfully completed the academic requirements of an educational program recognized by the board and has passed a national certifying examination approved by the board. Upon receipt of documentation that all necessary educational and experience qualifications for clinical laboratory technician have been met, or upon successful completion of an examination approved by the board, the board shall issue a clinical laboratory technician license to any person meeting the above qualifications.
