This chapter does not apply to: 1. Any authorized representative of the United States government, the state of North Dakota, or any county, municipality, irrigation district, reclamation district, or other political corporation. 2. Any person that furnishes any fabricated or finished product, material, or article of merchandise that is not incorporated into or attached to real property by such person so as to become affixed thereto.
