1. An individual is guilty of a class B misdemeanor if the individual: a. Violates any provision of section 43-04-21, 43-04-30, 43-04-43, or 43-04-43.1; b. Permits any individual in that individual's employ, supervision, or control to practice as a barber unless the employed, supervised, or controlled individual has a certificate of registration as a registered barber; c. Obtains or attempts to obtain a certificate of registration by the payment of money other than the required fee, or any other thing of value, or by fraudulent misrepresentations; d. Practices or attempts to practice by fraudulent misrepresentations; or e. Willfully fails to display a certificate of registration as required by this chapter. 2. An individual who violates this chapter , or any rule, subpoena, or order of the board lawfully made under this chapter is guilty of a class B misdemeanor.
