Powers and procedure of military courts

The military courts of this state must be constituted the same, have cognizance of the same 
subjects, and shall possess the same powers, except as to punishment, as similar courts 
provided for by the laws and regulations governing the army of the United States. The 
proceedings of courts-martial of the national guard must follow the forms and modes of 
procedure prescribed in the Manual for Courts-Martial, United States, 1984 (1998 edition).
