Sick juror discharged

If after the impaneling of a jury and before a verdict, a juror becomes sick so as to be 
unable to perform the juror's duty, the court may order the juror to be discharged. In that case 
the trial may proceed by agreement of the parties with the remaining jurors, or an alternate juror 
may be called, or another juror may be sworn and the trial begun anew, or the jurors may be 
discharged and a new jury then or afterwards impaneled.
