Designation of beneficiary not affected by wills law

A designation in accordance with the terms of any insurance, annuity, or endowment 
contract when the designation in any agreement issued or entered into by the insurance 
company in connection therewith, supplemental thereto, or in settlement thereof, or the 
designation under a thrift, pension, retirement, death benefit, stock bonus, or profit -sharing 
contract, plan, system, or trust, created by an employer for the exclusive benefit of some or all 
of the employer's employees, or their beneficiary, of a person to be a beneficiary, payee, or 
owner of any right, title, or interest thereunder upon the death of another, is not subject to or 
defeated or impaired by any law relating to the signing and attestation of wills, even though the 
designation is revocable with the rights of the beneficiary, payee, or owner, or otherwise subject 
to defeasance.
