discharge proceeding - Compensation. The board of an area career and technology center may suspend a director if, by unanimous vote, the board determines that suspension is appropriate during the period in which a discharge for cause is pursued. If the director is ultimately discharged for cause, the board may determine the amount of compensation, if any, due the director during the period of suspension. If the director is ultimately not discharged, the board may not apply any reduction to the director's salary for the period of suspension.
