Use of photography in making county records

Whenever a statute requires an order, will, or other instrument, document, or decree to be 
transcribed into a record book of a county official, the same may be done by affixing a 
photostatic or photographic copy thereof to a page of the record book. Such photostatic or 
photographic copy shall be certified as to correctness by the county official. The photostatic or 
photographic copy and the certificate shall then be affixed to the page of the record book, and 
the county official shall inscribe on such page the nature of the instrument affixed, the date 
recorded, and the official's signature.
