Notes or obligations - Legal investments

Notwithstanding any other statute, the notes or other interest -bearing obligations of a state 
development corporation, issued in accordance with this chapter and the articles of 
incorporation and the bylaws of the corporation, are legal investments for any banks, savings 
and loan associations, trust companies, or other financial institutions which become members of 
the corporation. The Bank of North Dakota and the North Dakota mill and elevator are each 
authorized to purchase capital stock and become members of the corporation.
