An individual shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor if the individual engages in any of the following activities: (1) Practices or attempts to practice veterinary medicine in this State without first having obtained a license or temporary permit from the Board. (2) Practices veterinary medicine without renewing the individual's license, as provided in G.S. 90-187.5. (3) Practices or attempts to practice veterinary medicine while the individual's license is revoked, or suspended, or when a certificate of license has been refused. (4) Violates any of the provisions of this Article.
