(a) Any premium or dues charged by a corporation regulated under the provisions of this Article and Article 66 of this Chapter may be paid by the employer, employee, principal, or agent. The term "employer" as used in this section includes counties, municipal corporations, and all departments or subdivisions of the State, county, municipal corporation, and official boards including city and county boards of alcoholic control, together with all others occupying the status of employer and employee, principal and agent. (b) Any premium or dues charged by a corporation regulated under the provisions of this Article and Article 66 of this Chapter may be paid jointly and severally.
