The Commissioner may require an HMO to have and maintain a larger amount of net worth than prescribed in G.S. 58-67-110, based upon the principles of risk-based capital as determined by the NAIC or the Commissioner. (2001-223, s. 12.10.) Article 13. Asset Protection Act.
