(a) A majority of the board of trustees constitutes a quorum for the transaction of business. Each member shall have one vote. (b) Each member of the board of trustees may be removed with or without cause by the appointing authority. (c) Appointments to fill vacancies shall be made for the remainder of the unexpired term by the respective appointing authority charged with the responsibility for making such appointments pursuant to G.S. 160A-905. All members shall serve until their successors are appointed and qualified, unless removed from office.
