(a) As long as work requirements as a condition of participation in the Medicaid program may be authorized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Department shall take all actions necessary to implement and maintain implementation of those work requirements to the fullest extent allowable. (b) At the time of initial application for medical assistance benefits, the applicant shall provide satisfactory proof that the applicant has complied with any applicable community engagement requirements for the three consecutive months immediately preceding the month the applicant submits the application for medical assistance benefits. (c) At the time of redetermination of eligibility for medical assistance benefits, the applicant shall provide satisfactory proof that the applicant has complied with any applicable community engagement requirements for at least three of the last six months immediately preceding the month of the redetermination.
