§ 1. Short title. a. This chapter shall be known and may be cited as\n"volunteer firefighters' benefit law".\n b. Reference in this chapter or in any other law to the volunteer\nfiremen's benefit law shall be deemed to mean and refer to the volunteer\nfirefighters' benefit law. The terms "volunteer fireman" or "volunteer\nfiremen" appearing in this chapter shall be deemed to mean "volunteer\nfirefighter" or "volunteer firefighters," respectively. The terms "he,"\n"his," or "him," appearing in this chapter shall be deemed to mean "he\nor she," "his or her," and "him or her."\n
