§ 404-g. Distinctive plates bearing the words "Birthplace of\nBaseball". 1. Any person residing in this state shall, upon request, be\nissued a license plate bearing the words "Birthplace of Baseball" in\nhonor of the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York and the one\nhundred fiftieth anniversary of the game of baseball. Application for\nsaid license plate shall be filed with the commissioner in such form and\ndetail as the commissioner shall prescribe.\n  2. A distinctive plate issued pursuant to this section shall be issued\nin the same manner as other number plates upon payment of the regular\nregistration fee prescribed by section four hundred one of this article\nprovided, however, that an additional annual service charge of\ntwenty-five dollars shall be charged for such plates.\n
