§ 1906-a. Costs in a summary proceeding.\n In a summary proceeding to recover possession of real property,\npetitioner shall be allowed as costs for each necessary respondent\nserved with the notice of petition by a person other than a enforcement\nofficer, five dollars, and if there is a default in appearance by the\nrespondent, the sum of five dollars for securing the affidavit that the\nrespondent is not in military service, required by the statutes of the\nUnited States; plus, as disbursements, the fees paid pursuant to § 1911\n(a) (1) of this act. Such costs shall be exclusive in such proceeding\nand shall constitute the sum to be awarded as costs by the judgment\npursuant to § 747 of the real property actions and proceedings law,\nexcept insofar as additional costs may be imposed pursuant to\nsubdivision three of said section.\n
