Acquisition of real property

§ 13. Acquisition of real property. The corporation, upon making a\nfinding that it is necessary or convenient to acquire any real property\nfor its immediate or future use, may acquire such property in any lawful\nmanner, pursuant to the provisions of the eminent domain procedure law,\nnotwithstanding that such property may already be devoted to a public\nuse, nor shall such property thereafter be taken for any other public\nuse without the consent of the corporation.\n  Prior to the commencement of condemnation proceedings, the corporation\nshall cause a survey and map to be made of the property to be condemned\nand file the same in its office. There shall be annexed thereto a\ncertificate, executed by such officer or employee as the corporation may\ndesignate, stating that the property described in such survey and map is\nnecessary for corporate purposes.\n
