Duty to Report

Section 9--527. Duty to Report.\n  The secretary of state shall report to the governor, the temporary\npresident of the senate and the speaker of the assembly on the first day\nof July, two thousand two, on the first day of July, two thousand three\nand biennially on the first day of July thereafter, on the operation of\nthe filing office. In addition to a statement on the operation of the\nfiling office, the report shall contain a statement of the extent to\nwhich:\n  (a) the filing office rules are not in harmony with the rules of the\nfiling offices in other jurisdictions that enact substantially this part\nand the reasons for such variation; and\n  (b) the filing office rules are not in harmony with the most recent\nversion of the Model Rules promulgated by the International Association\nof Corporate Administrators, or any successor organization, and the\nreasons for these variations.\n
