Presentation of claims for torts: actions against towns

§ 67. Presentation of claims for torts: actions against towns.  1. Any\nclaim including a claim specified in section sixty-five-a of this\nchapter which may be made against the town or town superintendent of\nhighways for damages for wrong or injury to person or property or for\nthe death of a person, shall be made and served in compliance with\nsection fifty-e of the general municipal law.\n  2. Every action upon such claim shall be commenced pursuant to the\nprovisions of section fifty-i of the general municipal law.\n  3. This section shall not apply to actions upon claims for damages or\ncompensation for property taken by condemnation for any public purpose.\n
