Separability of congressional districts

§ 112. Separability of congressional districts. Each congressional\ndistrict created by this article shall be deemed a separate district for\nthe purpose of apportionment of the entire state into congressional\ndistricts. If one or more congressional districts created by this\narticle are judicially found not to be in compliance with the decisions\nand mandates of a court of competent jurisdiction, only the defective\ndistrict or districts and those immediately adjacent or contiguous\nthereto shall be reapportioned. All other districts shall be deemed to\nbe properly created.\n
