* § 99-ss. Suicide prevention fund. 1. There is hereby established in\nthe joint custody of the comptroller, the commissioner of taxation and\nfinance, and the office of mental health, a fund, to be known as the\n"suicide prevention fund".\n 2. Such fund shall consist of moneys required to be deposited thereto\npursuant to article forty-seven of the general business law and all\nother moneys appropriated, credited, or transferred thereto from any\nother fund or source pursuant to law. Nothing contained in this section\nshall prevent the state from receiving grants, gifts or bequests for the\npurposes of the fund as defined in this section and depositing them into\nthe fund according to law.\n 3. Moneys of the fund shall be made available to the office of mental\nhealth for initiatives supporting suicide prevention, education, and\nawareness.\n 4. The commissioner of the office of mental health shall include in\nits written report pursuant to subdivision (g) of section 7.07 of the\nmental hygiene law how the moneys of the fund were utilized during the\npreceding fiscal year, and shall include:\n (a) the amount of money disbursed from the fund and the award process\nused for such disbursements;\n (b) recipients of awards from the fund;\n (c) the amount awarded to each; and\n (d) the purposes for which such awards were granted.\n * NB There are 3 § 99-ss's\n
