Domestic violence awareness fund

* § 97-yyy. Domestic violence awareness fund. 1. There is hereby\nestablished in the joint custody of the state comptroller and the\ncommissioner of taxation and finance a special fund to be known as the\n"domestic violence awareness fund."\n  2. Such fund shall consist of all revenues received pursuant to an\nappropriation by the legislature, all moneys collected pursuant to\nsection four hundred four-t of the vehicle and traffic law, and all\nother moneys appropriated, credited, or transferred thereto from any\nother fund or source pursuant to law. Nothing contained herein shall\nprevent the state from receiving grants, gifts or bequests for the\npurposes of the fund as defined in this section and depositing them into\nthe fund according to law.\n  3. Moneys of the fund, following appropriation by the legislature and\nallocation by the director of the budget, shall be available for the\npurpose of funding expenses of the office for the prevention of domestic\nviolence for educational and prevention programs undertaken pursuant to\narticle twenty-one of the executive law.\n  * NB There are 2 § 97-yyy's\n
