* § 97-xxx. Agriculture in the classroom fund. 1. There is hereby\nestablished in the joint custody of the state comptroller and the\ncommissioner of taxation and finance a fund to be known as the\n"agriculture in the classroom fund".\n 2. Such fund shall consist of all moneys collected pursuant to section\nfour hundred four-s of the vehicle and traffic law, and all other moneys\ncredited or transferred thereto from any other fund or source pursuant\nto law, provided, however that any funds necessary to complete design\nand production of the distinctive license plates authorized by section\nfour hundred four-s of the vehicle and traffic law shall first be\nallocated for such purposes.\n 3. Moneys of the fund shall be expended for the purposes of providing\nfunding for agriculture in the classroom programs conducted in\ncooperation with the department of agriculture and markets. Moneys shall\nbe paid out of the fund on the audit and warrant of the state\ncomptroller on vouchers approved by the commissioner of agriculture and\nmarkets. Any interest received by the comptroller on moneys on deposit\nin the agriculture in the classroom fund shall be retained in and become\npart of such fund.\n * NB There are 2 § 97-xxx's\n
