* § 97-rrr. School tax relief fund. 1. There is hereby established in\nthe joint custody of the comptroller and the commissioner of taxation\nand finance a special fund to be known as the school tax relief fund.\n 2. Such fund shall consist of all monies credited or transferred\nthereto from the general fund or from any other fund or sources pursuant\nto law.\n 3. The monies in such fund shall be appropriated for school property\ntax exemptions granted pursuant to the real property tax law and payable\npursuant to section thirty-six hundred nine-e of the education law.\n 4. All payments from the fund shall be made on the audit and warrant\nof the comptroller on vouchers approved by the commissioner of the state\neducation department.\n 5. Notwithstanding the provisions of section one hundred seventy-one-a\nof the tax law, as separately amended by chapters four hundred\neighty-one and four hundred eighty-four of the laws of nineteen hundred\neighty-one, and notwithstanding the provisions of chapter ninety-four of\nthe laws of two thousand eleven, or any other provisions of law to the\ncontrary, during the fiscal year beginning April first, two thousand\ntwenty-six, the state comptroller is hereby authorized and directed to\ndeposit to the fund created pursuant to this section from amounts\ncollected pursuant to article twenty-two of the tax law and pursuant to\na schedule submitted by the director of the budget, up to $1,294,911,000\nas may be certified in such schedule as necessary to meet the purposes\nof such fund for the fiscal year beginning April first, two thousand\ntwenty-six.\n * NB There are 2 § 97-rrr's\n
