§ 97-ppp.  Education museum account.  1.  There is hereby established\nin the joint custody of the state comptroller and the commissioner of\nthe department of taxation and finance an account of the miscellaneous\nspecial revenue fund to be known as the education museum account.\n  2.  Notwithstanding any other law, rule or regulation to the contrary,\nthe state comptroller is hereby authorized and directed to receive for\ndeposit to the credit of the education museum account, fees, including\ncharge backs to other state agencies and department units; fees charged\nfor the use of museum facilities or for services including licenses or\ncertificates; charges for services and data interpretation; donations;\nsales of photocopies, microform, data discs, publications or other\nmaterials, including the sale of excess museum properties; public or\nprivate funds received for research activities managed by the state\nmuseum; and from public or private funds received as payment in lieu of\nhonorarium for services rendered by state education department employees\nwhich are related to such employees official duties or responsibilities.\n  3.  Moneys of this account, following appropriation by the\nlegislature, shall be available to the state education department for\nservices and expenses of the state museum.\n
