§ 97-l. Sewage treatment program management and administration fund.\n1. There is hereby established in the joint custody of the state\ncomptroller and the commissioner of taxation and finance a fund to be\nknown as the "sewage treatment program management and administration\nfund".\n 2. The sewage treatment program management and administration fund may\nconsist of (a) all moneys transferred to the state from the water\npollution control revolving fund pursuant to section twelve hundred\neighty-five-j of the public authorities law, (b) all or a portion of\nmoneys made available to New York state for the purposes of\nadministering and managing financial assistance provided to\nmunicipalities from the water pollution control revolving fund pursuant\nto the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, and (c) all other moneys\ncredited or transferred thereto from any other fund or source pursuant\nto law. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no money reserved for planning\npursuant to section six hundred four (b) of the Federal Water Pollution\nControl Act shall be deposited in the sewage treatment program\nmanagement and administration fund.\n 3. Moneys in the sewage treatment program management and\nadministration fund shall be kept separately from and shall not be\ncommingled with any other moneys in the custody of the state\ncomptroller.\n 4. Moneys in such fund, following appropriation by the legislature,\nmay be used, for the purpose of paying all costs of the department of\nenvironmental conservation and New York state environmental facilities\ncorporation for management and administration of the sewage treatment\nprogram established by section 17-1909 of the environmental conservation\nlaw and of the water pollution control revolving fund established by\nsection twelve hundred eighty-five-j of the public authorities law.\n
