Transportation safety account

* § 91. Transportation safety account. 1. There is hereby established\nin the joint custody of the state comptroller and the commissioner of\ntaxation and finance an account of the miscellaneous special revenue\nfund to be known as the transportation safety account.\n  2. Such account shall consist of all fees received pursuant to article\nfive, sections three hundred ninety-four, three hundred ninety-eight-c,\nfour hundred fifteen, four hundred fifteen-a, four hundred twenty-nine,\nsubdivision four of section five hundred thirty and subdivision seven of\nsection one thousand one hundred ninety-six and all reinstatement,\nsuspension, termination and reapplication fees received pursuant to\narticle nineteen of the vehicle and traffic law and required to be\ndeposited to this account, and all other monies credited or transferred\nthereto from any other fund or source pursuant to law.\n  3. Moneys of the account, following appropriation by the legislature,\nshall be available to the department of motor vehicles for services and\nexpenses of transportation safety activities.\n  * NB Repealed April 1, 2004 - Section revived April 1, 2028\n
