Transmission of public moneys

§ 122. Transmission of public moneys. The comptroller may make such\nregulations and give such directions from time to time, respecting the\ntransmission to the treasury of moneys belonging to the state from the\nseveral county treasurers and other public officers as in his judgment\nis most conducive to the interests of the state. He may, in his\ndiscretion, audit, allow and cause to be paid the expenses necessarily\nincurred under or in consequence of such regulations and directions or\nso much thereof as he deems equitable and just.\n
