§ 522. Enforcement. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the\nattorney general of the state of New York shall have the authority to\nenforce the provisions of section five hundred twenty-one of this\narticle by applying, in the name of the people of the state of New York,\nto the supreme court of the state of New York, on notice of five days,\nfor an order enjoining the continuance of such violative activity,\nincluding but not limited to by bringing an action for injunctive or\ndeclaratory relief if a single-family residence or two-family residence\nis in the process of being or has been sold in a manner that contravenes\nthe requirements of section five hundred twenty-one of this article, and\nimposing civil damages and penalties pursuant to subdivisions three and\nfour of section five hundred twenty-one of this article, as applicable.\n
