§ 447-f. Enforcement. 1. The provisions of this article may be\nenforced in accordance with article eight of the multiple dwelling law\nor article eight of the multiple residence law, as applicable in the\ncovered jurisdiction where the short-term unit is located.\n 2. Counties that are covered jurisdictions may enter into agreements\nwith a booking service for assistance in enforcing the provisions of\nthis section, including but not limited to an agreement whereby the\nbooking service agrees to remove a listing from its platform that is\ndeemed ineligible for use as a short-term rental unit under the\nprovisions of this article, and whereby the booking service agrees to\nprohibit a short-term rental host from listing any listing without a\nvalid registration number.\n 3. The attorney general shall be authorized to bring an action for a\nviolation of this article for any such violations occurring in the\nstate.\n 4. A covered jurisdiction shall be entitled to bring an action for a\nviolation of this article for any such violations of this article\noccurring in the covered jurisdiction, and may notify the attorney\ngeneral.\n
