* § 344-i. Documents in trust. (a) Manufacturer's certificate of\norigin.  The holder of a manufacturer's certificate of origin to a\nmanufactured home may deliver it to any person to facilitate conveying\nor encumbering the home. Any person receiving any such manufacturer's\ncertificate of origin so delivered holds it in trust for the person\ndelivering it.\n  (b) Certificate of title. The holder of a certificate of title to a\nmanufactured home may deliver it to any person to facilitate conveying\nor encumbering the home. Any person receiving any such manufacturer's\ncertificate of title so delivered holds it in trust for the person\ndelivering it.\n  (c) Lien release. The holder of a security interest in a manufactured\nhome may deliver lien release documents to any person to facilitate\nconveying or encumbering the home. Any person receiving any such\ndocuments so delivered holds the documents in trust for the lienholder.\n  * NB Effective December 12, 2026\n
