Lobbyist registration

§ 1329. Lobbyist registration. 1. For purposes of this section, the\nterms "lobbyist", "lobbying", "lobbying activities" and "client" shall\nhave the same meaning as those terms are defined by section one-c of the\nlegislative law.\n  2. In addition to any other registration and reporting required by\nlaw, each lobbyist seeking to engage in lobbying activity on behalf of a\nclient or a client's interest before the commission shall first register\nwith the secretary of the commission. The secretary shall cause a\nregistration to be available on the commission's website within five\ndays of submission.\n
