§ 120.09 Assault on a judge.\n A person is guilty of assault on a judge when, with intent to prevent\na judge from performing official judicial duties, such person causes\nserious physical injury to such judge. For the purposes of this section,\nthe term judge shall mean a judge of a court of record or a justice\ncourt.\n Assault on a judge is a class C felony.\n
