Certain cities; actions to restrain nuisances

§ 375. Certain cities; actions to restrain nuisances. The commissioner\nof health or health officer of a city having a population of less than\none hundred seventy-five thousand, is authorized, by and with the advice\nand consent of the corporation counsel or city attorney, in the name of\nthe city to maintain actions to restrain the threatened performance or\nthe continued performance of any act contrary to his orders, directions,\ndecisions or ordinances, and to restrain and abate nuisances, and for\nthe purpose of obtaining a temporary injunction in any such action no\nundertaking shall be required.\n
