* § 3019. Department review of comprehensive county emergency medical\nsystem plans. 1. The department, in consultation with the state\nemergency medical services council, the regional emergency medical\nservices councils, or any other group the department deems necessary,\nmay make available a model comprehensive county emergency medical system\nplan format to help provide guidance to counties to consider when\ndeveloping their comprehensive county emergency medical system plan\nrequired pursuant to section one hundred twenty-two-b of the general\nmunicipal law. Such model plan shall be made publicly available on the\ndepartment's website and outline the components of the plan that the\ndepartment deems most effective to facilitate their timely review and\nmeaningful feedback on each county's plan.\n 2. Upon receipt of a county's comprehensive county emergency medical\nsystem plan submitted to the department pursuant to section one hundred\ntwenty-two-b of the general municipal law, the department shall review\nsuch plan and provide written feedback and any recommendations, within\nsixty days of such plan's submission, for review by the county.\n * NB Effective June 19, 2026\n
