§ 2322. Houses of prostitution; injunction; service of summons. The\nsummons in an action provided by section two thousand three hundred\ntwenty-one of this chapter, may be served as in a civil action except\nthat, in case service by publication is ordered, the mailing of a copy\nof the order and the summons to the defendant may be dispensed within\nthe order and the order may provide that such publication in a paper\npublished daily in the city where the property affected by the action is\nlocated, twice a week for two weeks, will be sufficient publication, in\nwhich case service will be deemed completed upon the date of last\npublication; and except that where personal service is made without the\nstate, the service will be deemed completed upon the date of such\npersonal service.\n
