§ 3552. Definitions. As used or referred to in this title, unless a\ndifferent meaning clearly appears from the context:\n  1. "Board" shall mean the board of directors of the corporation as\nestablished by section thirty-five hundred fifty-three of this title.\n  2. "Bonds" shall mean the bonds, notes or other evidences of\nindebtedness issued by the corporation pursuant to this title, and the\nprovisions of this title relating to bonds and bondholders shall apply\nwith equal force and effect to notes and noteholders, respectively,\nunless the context otherwise clearly requires.\n  3.  "Corporation" shall mean the public corporation created by section\nthirty-five hundred fifty-three of this title, known as the Roswell Park\nCancer Institute corporation.\n  4. "County" shall mean the county of Erie.\n  5. "Department" shall mean the department of health of the state of\nNew York.\n  6. "Director" shall mean a voting director appointed to the board of\ndirectors of the corporation pursuant to section thirty-five hundred\nfifty-three of this title.\n  7. "Health facility" shall mean a building, structure or unit or any\nimprovement to real property, including all necessary and usual\nattendant and related equipment, facilities or fixtures, or any part or\nparts thereof, or any combination or combinations thereof, including,\nbut not limited to, a general hospital, ambulatory clinic or center,\nchronic disease hospital, dispensary or laboratory or any other related\nfacility, or any combination of the foregoing, constructed, acquired or\notherwise provided by or for the use of the corporation or the state in\nproviding basic medical research, health and medical services to the\npublic.\n  8. "President" shall mean the president of the corporation selected by\nthe board of directors.\n  9. "Transfer" shall mean the effective date of the contract between\nthe corporation and the commissioner of health as authorized by\nsubdivision two of section four hundred three of the public health law.\n
