§ 3102-g. Technology commercialization clinic program. The foundation\nshall establish a technology commercialization clinic program to be\nmanaged by the science and technology law center for the purposes of\nassisting New York universities, entrepreneurs and companies in\ncommercializing new products or processes.\n 1. Entities eligible to operate the program shall be competitively\nselected by the foundation and shall include business, law and\nengineering schools, and other academic research entities, located at\ncolleges and universities in the state.\n 2. Activities under this program shall be conducted by students\nsupervised by appropriate faculty and university administrators and\nshall include but not be limited to the following:\n (a) engaging in faculty-supervised projects specializing in research\nand analysis of the commercial development of early-stage technologies\non behalf of New York universities and companies;\n (b) providing research and analysis of the technical, marketing,\nintellectual property, and legal issues related to the commercial\ndevelopment of new technologies on behalf of New York universities and\ncompanies;\n (c) collaborating with other technology commercialization clinic\nprograms to develop best practices to support technology\ncommercialization in New York.\n
