§ 2758. County approval required. Notwithstanding any inconsistent\nprovision of this title, no project, including but not limited to the\nacquisition of real property by the authority or the expansion of the\nauthority's aviation facilities, may be undertaken by the authority\nunless such project is approved by a resolution of the county\nlegislature adopted by a majority vote and approved by the county\nexecutive; provided, however, that Resolution No. 157 of 1989 of the\ncounty legislature approving an airport expansion project shall be\ndeemed to be an approval within the meaning of this section without\nfurther action by the county. All future projects not incorporated in or\ncontemplated by Resolution No. 157 of 1989 shall be subject to approval\nby the county legislature and the county executive as set forth in this\nsection.\n
