§ 2655-b. Public hearings of the authority. Prior to the adoption of\nany project where the authority would:\n 1. expend more than five hundred thousand dollars;\n 2. borrow money or issue bonds pursuant to subdivision four of section\ntwenty-six hundred fifty-five of this title; or\n 3. condemn real property pursuant to section twenty-six hundred\nfifty-nine of this title;\n the board shall schedule and hold a public hearing and solicit public\ncomment on such project. After the conclusion of the public hearing and\ncomment, the board shall consider the results of the public hearing and\ncomments with respect to the adoption of the proposed project. Such\nconsideration by the board shall include the accommodation of the public\ninterest with respect to such project, if such accommodation is deemed\nin the best interest of the community and the authority's purposes as\nexpressed in section twenty-six hundred fifty-five of this title, the\nproposal and resolution may be amended.\n
