§ 2046-r. Limited liability. Neither the directors of the agency, nor\nthe town or any other municipality, nor any person, or persons acting in\nbehalf of the agency, while acting within the scope of their authority,\nshall be subject to any personal liability resulting from the erection,\nconstruction, reconstruction, maintenance or operation of any project or\nfrom carrying out any of the powers expressly given in this title;\nprovided, however, that this section shall not be held to apply to any\nindependent contractor.\n
