§ 2041-r. Limited liability. Neither the members of the governing\nbody, nor any municipality, officer, or employee acting in its behalf,\nwhile acting within the scope of his or her authority, shall be subject\nto any personal liability resulting from the construction, maintenance\nor operation of any of the properties of the authority or from carrying\nout any of the powers expressly given in this title provided, however,\nthat this shall not be held to apply to any independent contractor.\n
