§ 1898. Advisory council. 1. The authority shall establish a green\njobs-green New York advisory council to advise the authority on the\ncreation and implementation of the program. The council shall consist\nof:\n  (a) the president of the authority; the secretary of state; the\ncommissioner of housing and community renewal; the commissioner of\nlabor; the commissioner of temporary and disability assistance; the\nchair of the department of public service; the president of the power\nauthority of the state of New York; the president of the Long Island\npower authority; the commissioner of economic development; the\ncommissioner of environmental conservation; or the designees of such\npersons; and\n  (b) representatives of constituency-based community groups; consumer\nadvocates on utility and housing issues; community-based workforce\ndevelopment groups; unions, including building trades and property\nservices; home performance contractors; large-scale construction\ncontractors; and investment market experts.\n  2. The president of the authority shall serve as the chair of the\ncouncil.\n
