§ 1745. Limited liability. Neither the members of the board nor any\nofficers or employee of the authority acting on behalf thereof, while\nacting within the scope of such person's authority, shall be subject to\nany liability resulting from carrying out any of the powers expressly\ngiven in this title. A trustee, officer or employee of the authority\nshall be deemed an "employee" for the purposes of section fifty-k of the\ngeneral municipal law, provided, however, that any trustee appointed by\nthe governor or any employee of the state shall be deemed an "employee"\nfor the purposes of section eighteen of the public officers law for any\nactions relating to their activities as a trustee of the authority\ncreated by this title.\n
