* § 1599-u. Limited liability. Neither the members of the authority,\nnor any officer or employee of the authority acting in behalf thereof,\nwhile acting within the scope of his authority, shall be subject to any\npersonal liability resulting from the construction, maintenance or\noperation of any of the properties of the authority or any project\nfinanced with the assistance of the authority, carrying out any of the\npowers expressly given in this title; provided, however, that this\nsection shall not be held to apply to any independent contractor.\n  * NB Authority ceased to exist 08/05/2002\n
